Training Program Coordinator, Arcata, CA
Niki joined Conservation Strategy Fund in 2014 as a Training Associate, and is working closely with Kim at our Arcata office. Niki lived in Japan for three years during high school, traveled widely in Asia, and participated in Habitat for Humanity building projects in the Philippines. Exposure to extreme poverty sparked her interest in economics and sustainable development, which she pursued at UC Santa Cruz, where she earned her B.A. in Economics and M.S. in Applied Economics and Finance. She then spent three years as a naturalist, farmer, and educator at Hidden Villa Farm and Wilderness Preserve in Los Altos Hills, CA. In 2008, she followed her heart to Humboldt County where she worked for a variety of local non-profits before coming to CSF.
