Show them the money: Incentives for greener infrastructure

Unless development banks and government agencies provide financial incentives for infrastructure developers and operators to meet and exceed environmental standards, improvements in environmental assessment and planning will be largely meaningless. This paper explores a variety of possible such incentives.
