Completing Our Second Year of “Economía y Finanzas para el Liderazgo Ambiental”!
Conservation Strategy Fund (CSF) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the second version of the “Economics and Finance for Environmental Leadership” course, developed entirely online and in Spanish.
The main objective of the 13-week course was to provide Spanish-speaking professionals with the necessary economic tools for the field of nature conservation. Topics covered included natural resource economics, cost-benefit analysis, economic valuation, behavioral economics and sustainable financing opportunities.
The 2024 edition was attended by 31 students from seven countries: Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Mexico. Throughout the course, students had the opportunity to interact with a team of teachers who are experts in each of the topics and share experiences with colleagues from the region.
Participants highlighted the course content and methodology, the quality of the classes and the valuable collaborative learning experience. The CSF training team was highly satisfied with the development of the course and is motivated to organize a third version during the first semester of 2025.

The participants emphasized that the course was enriching, interesting and valuable. In addition, 85% consider that participating in this course has been useful and important for their work and all students consider that their knowledge and skills on the topics covered have increased.
