Research Title: The Socio-Economic Impact of Mini Trawl Operations on Mantis Shrimp (Harpiosquilla Rapidhea) Fishers in Kuala Tungkal
Lisna is a lecturer in the Faculty of Animal Science at Jambi University. She obtained her master's degree in Biology at Andalas University in Padang. Lisna has published significant research throughout her career, including “Plankton Community & Diversity and Macrobenthos as a Bioindicator in Jambi City's Danau Sipin Waters Quality” (2015), “Study in the Sawdust Utilization as Fish Coolbox Isolator Material” (2016), and “Analyzing the Eco-friendly Level of Gillnet Fishing Gear in Nipah Panjang Sub-District, East Tanjung Jabung District”(2018). Lisna’s experience in fisheries and biology has greatly enriched her research abilities. As one of our Fisheries Management Area (FMA) 711 Groundwork Analysis Fellows for 2019-2020, she hopes that her latest research, "The Socio-Economic Impact of Mini Trawl Operations on Mantis Shrimp (Harpiosquilla Rapidhea) Fishers in Kuala Tungkal," will inform policymakers on formulating sustainable fisheries policies for marine life and local communities in Jambi Province, specifically in the West Tanjung Jabung District.
