Cecilia Ayala
Cecilia joined CSF at the end of 2005 as Director of the Bolivia Program. She has a degree in Economics and a Masters in Public Policy and Development from the Universidad Católica Boliviana, and brings to CSF her experience applying economic analysis and environmental valuation techniques to Bolivia's environmental challenges. She has over ten years of professional experience working on sustainable development with indigenous communities, and for the past six years she has been working in collaboration with SERNAP, Bolivia's protected areas agency. Prior to joining CSF, Cecilia worked as a consultant on conservation issues with various national and international NGOs, private foundations, and public institutions. Cecilia participated in CSF's first Bolivia course in 2001 in Madidi National Park.
