TELL YOUR CSF STORY, AND WIN A iPAD!
Dear CSF Course graduate,
How has economics helped you protect nature?
Have you used the tools you learned in your CSF course in your work?
Tell us your story, and we will help you share it with the CSF community and the world. The author of the best story will win a brand new Apple iPad!
What are we looking for?
Your story (Maximum 500 words – English, Spanish, Portuguese or French)
How has economics helped you? Did you achieve something using economic tools that you would otherwise not have been able to achieve? If so, that is the story we want to hear.
Please include at least one photo (of yourself, for example) that can help illustrate the story. You are also welcome, but not required, to submit additional pictures, and even short videos, if they help tell the story.
Why are we doing this?
1. We want to hear about your accomplishments and success!
2. We want to know exactly how economic tools have helped you in your work and adjust our program accordingly.
3. Your stories will help us raise funds so we can continue and expand our Conservation Economics training program.
What are the prizes?
Grand prize – Apple iPad
Runners Up (2): Apple iPod Shuffle
How will stories be judged?
1. Conservation impact.
How have you used economic analysis to conserve real places and wildlife, and help local communities? The bigger the conservation impact the better.
2. CSF linkage.
How did the tools and strategies you learned in your training with us help? Could you have done this before your training? If not, explain why.
3. Storytelling quality.
We are looking for exciting and dramatic stories, so have fun, and make the story compelling.
What are the rules?
Anybody who has taken a course from CSF is eligible to enter this contest.
All entries must be submitted by April 22, 2011.
