Aulia Riza Farhan
Dr. Farhan’s research topic is entitled The Calculation Model of Economic Losses Due to Illegal Fishing Activities in the Indonesia Territorial Waters. This project was supported by the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies.
Dr. Farhan has nearly 15 years’ experience working in marine and fisheries applications within the Indonesian Government and private sector. He has experience with project management, budgeting, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, leadership management, as well as GIS and Remote Sensing. He is currently working with the INDESO (Infrastructure Development of Space Oceanography) project, working on the implementation of operational oceanography and developing marine instrumentation technologies for monitoring, surveillance and controlling marine environment.
