Research Title: Analyzing the Overlapping Fisheries and Marine Resources Management Between Tin Mining and Marine Tourism Sectors on the Eastern Coast of Bangka Island

Endang Bidayani is a lecturer in the Faculty of Fisheries Agriculture and Biology at Bangka Belitung University. She obtained her doctoral degree in Marine and Fisheries Economic Resources at Brawijaya University in Malang.  Endang has actively published her research in journals for years, including “Aquaculture Evaluation in Kolong After Mining Activity: Analysis on Kolong Water Pollution” (2014) and “Local Catfish (Clarias sp.) Captivity for Aquaculture Activity”  (2018). As one of our Fisheries Management Area (FMA) 711 Groundwork Analysis Fellows for 2019-2020, Endang brings vast experience in fisheries resources and is excited to use economic tools for future research. Her latest research, "Analyzing the Overlapping Fisheries and Marine Resources Management between Tin Mining and Marine Tourism on the Eastern Coast of Bangka Island," aims to help the regional government assess their fisheries resource management strategies for regulating tin mining and marine tourism.
