Katie Schwoerer joined CSF as the Chief Finance & Administrative Officer in 2023. Katie’s professional background includes nearly two decades of finance and operations management for both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, and more than a decade serving as a local elected official. Prior to joining CSF, she served as a Director of Finance and Operations at The Nature Conservancy and at an environmental education organization located in Colorado. Katie graduated from Wake Forest University with a BA in Economics and continued her studies at the University of Denver earning a MA in International Administration. She lives in the mountains of Colorado with her family, and enjoys skiing, biking, and gardening.
