Omega Raya Simarangkir is a Marine Sciences lecturer at East Kutai Fishery College. Her research is entitled “Marine Tourism Economy Based on the CHSE Protocol as Responsive to COVID-19 (Case Study: Derawan Island, Berau, East Kalimantan).” This research will determine the economic value of natural resources given to the tourism management community when the use of these resources meets the CHSE protocol in accordance with the concept of conservation economics.
