I recently returned from my first Conference of the Parties (COP) from the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) that took place in Montreal, Canada. I was inspired by the events I attended, the positivity and hope surrounding our meetings and objectives, and by the final agreement on the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF). I can only imagine what it must have taken to get 190+ countries to agree on the 23 targets in those final few hours of the conference.
Dinda Ratnasari
Dinda joined CSF in 2023 as a Natural Resource Economist. Before joining CSF, she worked as a research assistant, consultant, and data analyst. She has experience in natural resource management, specifically in the environmental sector including economic valuation, cost-benefit analysis of ghost gear in Indonesia, solid waste management, and behavioral economics. She holds a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Resource and Environmental Economics, both from IPB University. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, watching movies, reading, and swimming.
Valeria Bacarreza
Valeria joined CSF in 2019 designing graphic materials and implementing communication strategies for the Piensa Verde environmental platform. She has 12 years of experience in advertising and educational graphic design, having worked in various education programs creating visual and audiovisual materials for both children and adults. Valeria enjoys being able to communicate and raise awareness about environmental issues through graphic materials that are attractive to any type of audience. Valeria also works as a television host in Bolivia.
Adriana Chacón Cascante
Adriana joined CSF in 2022 as a Senior Economist bringing 14 years of experience working in environmental economics, and in 2025 she became CSF's Proposal Development Specialist. She has coordinated projects for international organizations in topics related to land use planning, sustainability, economic development, climate change economics, and financial analysis. She has an extensive record of successful research and teaching on natural capital and ecosystem services (valuation, accounting, and impacts on policy processes), policy evaluation, and project formulation.

On December 8, 2022, our Sintang Groundwork Analysis consortium gathered to share their findings from their work on green budget tagging, a practice of identifying elements within the regency’s budget that are beneficial to the advancement of sustainable or “green” efforts, supporting the vision of the Green Sintang Initiatives.
